We have a little update to share with you: we no longer live in Torremolinos full-time. Our new base is the mountain village of Genalguacil, a peaceful corner of the Serranía de Ronda.
Life here feels different—quieter, slower, and surrounded by nature. The narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and sweeping views over the valley bring a sense of calm that contrasts beautifully with the energy of the coast.
That doesn’t mean Torremolinos is out of the picture. We’ll still be there often enough to keep sharing updates, news, and experiences from the seaside. Our love for the town remains strong—it’s just joined by a new perspective from inland Andalucía.
To reflect this shift, our Facebook page is now “Spanish Life”, broadening the focus to include both our life in the mountains and our time on the coast. Meanwhile, Instagram and other channels will remain “Torremolinos Life”, so you can still enjoy plenty of content from the beachside city.
We hope you’ll enjoy coming along with us for this change—seeing how mountain village life compares to coastal life, and discovering a little more of the diverse ways of living in Spain.
